The Jersey Shore cast will definitely be at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.

As Hurricane Irene threatens to destroy the East Coast, an insider tells Us Weekly that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola boarded a private jet Saturday morning in Teterboro, New Jersey.

"MTV wanted to make sure they got in town for the VMAs," the insider says of the L.A.-bound cast.

Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio will be coming in from Oklahoma City, while Jenni "JWoww" Farley is currently in Las Vegas. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will be flying to California from Rhode Island.
