Marriage Advice ? Reconnecting With Your Husband

It?s not uncommon to drift as the years go by in marriage, but we cannot let it go too long before doing something about it.for some reason most men are easily distracted when it comes to the emotional connection in marriage. There is hope though.

Wives can work at this from several angles all with differing measures of success.you can try to force your husband to comply with your relational needs.Good luck with that.you can try to have a friend convince him that he needs to do better.if there?s another one out there who understands. Finally you can employ actual relationship interest in him as a person.Let me tell you what I mean.

Participate in something that interests him.before we were married my to be wife went fishing with me.She really doesn?t like fishing, but she wanted to just be with me.try watching a movie that he enjoys, so you can have something to talk about.Find something that interests your husband and support it.

Ask questions about what he?s into at work or about a hobby that occupies him these days.it may not be the most appealing topic to you, but if you want to connect with him it will give you details for personal follow up questions.if he doesn?t want to talk about work, ask about some other part of his life that you normally wouldn?t ask about.

Act on something that your husband responded to in the past.think back for something that you did or said that caused your husband to positively react to you.it may have been a favorite meal, a CD that you bought him or a comment about his car.Reengage him with something that worked before.

This is actually a simple element to good relationships.if you love someone, you want to get into their world.the reaction is a person that is grateful for what you add to their lives and responds in kind.Various relationships are dynamic and therefore not 100% predictable, but for the most part this principle is probably what brought the two of you together in the first place.
