Recommendations From the World Cancer Research Fund. Prostate ...

Prostate cancer can be quit straggling. Not only can it be deathly, but it strikes right at your manhood. It is also insidious, is you are not on an active surveillance program; it is remained without symptoms for twenty years unless it has spread too much. The World Cancer Research Fund have made these recommendations after years of cancer research data.

1. Keep as thin as possible with a body mass index between twenty-one and 23.

2. Be active for at least thirty minutes per day.

3. Avoid soft drinks and reduce the minimum of high energy food.

4. Eat or drink a variety and 2/3 in size of your plate with fruit, vegetable, beans and any whole grains.

5. You can eat one pound of red meat: beef, pork and lamb once a week, no more.

6. Alcohol is permitted as lot it is only two glasses a day.

7. Limited your consumption of salt conserved food.

8. Avoid supplements.

9. If you?re a prostate cancer survivor, the same recommendations from above must be applied to you

With the first 3 recommendations, you want to control the amount of fat your body keeps in reserve. Body fat is an organ like your liver or brain which plays a role by producing hormones that control your metabolism. A large amount of body fat creates an inflammation condition in your body promoting prostate cancer.

Number four and five are the core of your diet. The variety in your diet will give you the tools to fight back, whereas the replacement of red meat by white meat: chicken, turkey and fish will lower high fat intake.

Number six bring the fun in your healthy diet. Research finds a general benefit for moderated alcohol drinking. However the third drink voids the effect of the first 2 drinks and the next drink prove to be harmful. So 2 beer, red wine or spirit?s the magic number.

Number 7 affects the bacteria flora in your digestive system. To much will promote harmful pathogen and weakened your immune system that control cancer proliferation.

Number eight is still in debate by the scientific community. Aside from vitamin D which is pretty hard to get in winter, all the other supplements were inconclusive.

Number nine is the most important. Being a cancer survivor means you are back at square one and that you are back in control. The choice is truly you decision.
